THE PROCESS

DESIGN

My ideas for designs usually come from the people I meet, their stories and in some cases struggles. I like to believe that my pieces are of some use to the wearer by empowering them with words of love and strength or by assisting in the daily anxieties of life. My aim is to make the wearer feel they are not just receiving an item of jewellery but a piece of something special, made with heart and soul.

I adore jewellery and believe it to be an extension of ones personality so why not wear pieces that not only look beautiful but also inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves. We owe ourselves that love, care and pride.

CRAFTMANSHIP

I have always been a creative person and having studied Design at an Art Institute I knew my passions lay somewhere in the creative right brain.

Having painted for years as a hobby I stumbled into the world of metalsmithing only a year ago.

I started by handstamping affirmations onto pre-made bracelets. My creativity bloomed and I became facinated with the whole process of forming metals. It just felt 'right' to me.

I researched for hours, (still do) took online courses and classes one after another, sometimes staying up till the early hours. I filled note books and sketch books with ideas and drawings. I am constantly learning and evolving my craft. I have a real passion for it and miss the time at my bench when i'm not around. I can now say i'm an avid collector of tools and hammers - something I never thought id ever find myself saying.

So far I am loving every second of creating and I only hope that shows it the pieces I create for every one of my customers.
